Global Tasking – Female CPO Required
Female personnel needed for cultural & operational reasons for deployment on diplomatic security postings abroad for an international organisation partner.
General Tasks
- Operate as a member of a Close Protection team providing escorts, security for staff and visitors.
- Conduct site and route reconnaissance and assessments as required.
- Discreet Armed Static security and monitoring of CCTV as required.
- CPOs rotate through posts within the general CP teams and the Incident Response team.
- Ensures timely and accurate reporting of security incidents.
- Be first to respond to security incidents .
- Stay fully briefed and trained for all duties and responsibilities and kept abreast of the latest developments locally. Implement and rehearse all Standard Operating Procedures and Contingency Plans in accordance with the provisions of local legal requirements.
- Ensure that all Close Protection team security equipment is complete, is up to date and well maintained.
Core Requirements:
- Candidates should have at least ten years of relevant work experience including in high risk environments.
- Hold any EU country passport
- Accredited Close Protection qualification
- Military or Police experience
- Proven knowledge of radio equipment and operational procedures
- IT literate including Word and Excel
- Excellent knowledge of first aid and trauma care, with a first aid qualification (ideally First Person On the Scene “FPOS” qualified), to be proven through relevant certificates.
- Clear criminal record
- Valid category C driving license
- B6 armoured driving certification
- Firearms training
- Certificates and references linked to past relevant work in the military, contract work, the private sector or non-profit organisations.
Role Details:
- Day rates will be commensurate with experience
- Rotation is on a schedule of 8 weeks on 4 weeks off
- Locations – Libya and Afghanistan
