A highly experienced, well-organised and meticulous Housekeeper is required for a young and very busy household in Chelsea. The family consists of 2 parents, 6-year-old son and a small dog. There are currently a number of other staff members including weekend Housekeeper, a Nanny and 2 drivers. There is also a dog walker, who comes once a day, so you may need to take the dog out in the morning, or afternoon.
The principal is a very busy businessman, who will regularly change a number of times a day, after meetings, so there will be lots of laundry and dry cleaning (the dry cleaning is collected and delivered), but you must be very organised with it and keep control over what is in and out.
The House is a 3-bed townhouse over 5 floors, so you must be physically fit. The couple have high standards, but they are not unattainable. On occasion, you may be asked to prepare a simple meal, a salad, sandwich, or something to graze on, but nothing cooked. The Nanny will prepare food for the child. If the principals have guests, or a meeting, you will be asked to prepare the room, or teas and coffees and serve to the guest.
The hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours, and a salary in the region of £45,000.
