The role is based in their London residence, where accommodation is provided, consisting of your own room and separate bathroom. The couple have 2 children between 3 and 7, so you must be child-friendly, but there is a live-out Nanny. This is a busy home, with a lot of coming and going, school runs, play dates, errands, contractors, etc., so you must be flexible, pro-active, able to manage your time and work with minimal instruction, and able to adapt quickly when there are changes to routine. Mum works from home, so you should also be mindful of this and the need to make yourself scarce if there are business meetings or calls.
The role is that of a classic Housekeeper, with all associated duties to include, but not limited to:Dusting, polishing, hoovering, and mopping
Laundry, ironing, care of clothes and wardrobe management
Running errands, occasional school runs
Occasional child-care if the Nanny is absent
Cooking occasional light meals
Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy, stocking fridges, etc
Ordering supplies and keeping an eye on stocks
Occasional travel to Monaco, or with the family in the summer, if they rent a villa.
This is a full-time role; work days are Wednesday to Sunday (with weekends off when the family isn’t in residence). Hours, 9-6, with a break for lunch.
The ideal candidate must have excellent attention to detail, be able to work pro-actively and under their own management, be child-friendly, be able to cook/prepare light meals, be physically fit, have good stamina and looking for a long-term placement.
