A highly experienced Domestic Couple is required for a client with an estate outside Reading. The main property is under renovation, so the principals are using 2 other properties nearby for themselves, family and friends, this is not the principal’s main residence.
The right candidates will be able to turn their hands to anything but will be able to manage the property and themselves. You must be pro-active and self-starters.
This is a formal household, so you should have experience in a similar environment. The main duties will include: housekeeping to a very high standard, laundry and ironing and care of fine fabrics and furnishings, family cooking, service of drinks and meals, to include Butler service at dinner parties, driving duties and maintenance of vehicles, running errands, some outside work, keeping the garden tidy, organising garden furniture etc.
There is a separate 2/3-bed lodge as part of the remuneration package, and salary will be dependent on experience.
