An experienced Head Gardener is required to join the team on a newly created estate in the SE of England. This is the client’s principal residence, which will also include a private shoot. The wider estate is around 600 acres and growing, which incorporates, formal gardens and lawns, woodland and a walled kitchen garden, in total, about 25 acres.
There is an Estate Management Couple, farm Manager and a land management agent overseeing the whole thing, but you will be managing a small team of 3 additional gardeners and PT staff as required. This is very much a team and they are looking for someone with this mentality to join them and help develop this new estate.
Salary is commensurate with experience; accommodation can be provided for the right person. Immediate start, but they are willing to wait for the right person.
